Is your toilet cleaner than your fridge?

  • I bought a new fridge a couple of months ago, with good intentions of keeping it clean and tidy. It is not looking too bad, but when I clean it with bicarb, I never think it smells 'clean' enough. I have also left cut lemons and limes in there, but they just look gross.

What do you all use to clean your fridges?

its not the fridge thats a problem its the freezer, where do u put all the food thats in it when you want to defrost & clean, thats one thats always put off:mad:

Do you have a freezer bag? I've got one of those large padded picnic bags and iceblocks. I wrap the items in newspaper and put them into the bag. Try to defrost the freezer as quickly as possible and switched back on again. On the other hand - try running down the freezer contents BEFORE attempting to defrost. We all need to do that anyway in the run-up to Christmas -otherwise how do we find all the space for those Christmas goodies mmmmmmmm! If all else fails, have you got a good neighbour with space in her freezer while you get yours sorted?

Mine has been just cleaned out. Otherwise I wouldn't put any pictures up. I love seeing inside other people's fridges. Don't get any ideas about posting pictures of toilets. I don't think i'd enjoy that as much. :p

I thought this might make everyone feel a bit better about their own fridge.

When I defrost my freezer (ie the day before hell freezes over!), I take everything out and stick it in a black bin liner. I then wrap this up with a duvet and get to work on the demon beast with a hair dryer. Then I chuck everything back in and it freezes up again to monstrous proportions within a fortnight.

    I am a fridge !!!!!! though!

i would like to pride myself on the fact that my fridge is cleaner than my loo, but i am now beggining to doubt it, i cleaned my fridge out 6 weeks ago, my loo is cleaned every morning (or evening) this thread has made me realise my fridge hygiene is not as good as it could be. obviously my loo gets more attention than my fridge but i hope this is cause my loo is more likley to encounter bugs like e-coli i would hate to think these were in my fridge (what if aggie swabbed it). i am a fridge !!!!!!!! will vow to clean it out tommorrow or next day or day after that or whenever.
