  • I had been sitting here quietly smug that my fridge does get cleaned really regularly. Then you post a piccie of yours kazmeister, and suddenly I'm not so smug. That's organised with a capital *O*!!!:T I am in awe of you.:D I hope my fridge is clean and my toilet too, don't like to think of either being dirty. I may not be tidy enough, but I hope I'm clean enough;)

I am soooooooo jealous of that fridge for 2 reasons, kazmeister!

1 the sheer size of the thing!

    2 how organised everything is!!

I have to admit I spent ages finding a big one. Looked at all those American types and they are half freezer and dont have as much space as mine has. I had an alcove in the kitchen/breakfast room that it had to fit into and had carefully measured it to fit. Perfect it was except I hadnt accounted for the skirting board - so it had to come off one side!!! The boxes was an easy way of getting more stuff in without it falling off the shelves. I have boxes for butter/fats etc, yoghurts/desserts etc, cold meats, cheeses, choccy biscs for pack ups, more dessert things and that only takes up two shelves. Then theres a shelf for breakfasty things like eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc, next shelf is the salad box and any other bits n pieces. the bottom shelf has beer cans and bottles jars sauce, yoghurty drinks and anything else I can get in. Oh and then the veg drawer and fruit drawer. And I've just counted 33 bottles and jars in the door :D . How sad is that :o

  • Wow...........my fridge isn't that full even at Xmas. :o You could swing a cat around in mine. Love the containers though. I clean my fridge out regularly :p Well with hardly anything in there it's a pretty easy job.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

What is it with children (yes i am including dh in this) that when they take the last item out of a packet, they put the empty packet back in the cupboard or fridge

Hi its an indesit but not sure of the model number, its about 4 years old - bought it in comet or somewhere like that. Its a fridge freezer just under 6 foot tall with about 1/4 of the height being the freezer part (which I use solely for bread and milk so its handy). It is wider than most and seems to have a lot more space than most when you open it (might be an illusion but it works for me !)
