How hard is it take a door off its hinges?

If the OP is leaving the hinges in place in the door frame, it might be worth taping them flat to avoid them catching (and scratching) the new fridge (or the guys carrying it!).
The way I read the post, the OP was looking to take the door off the fridge - Should be a fairly easy job as the doors are often designed to be hinged from either side. Her courage will change the world.

It might well fit in with just the handles removed, but if not we might need to take the kitchen door off. It's a standard wooden half glazed exterior door.
Are you referring to an exterior door to the outside or an exterior door used as an interior door?
Edit: FreeBear, I think he does mean the kitchen door.0 -
It sounds like they are talking about removing the kitchen EXTERIOR door, again no problem if wood with standard hinges (best with two people ) if UPVC door probably different kettle of fish.0

Easy to take a door of its hinges....just ask my Ex's 15 yr old daughter....when you tell her shes grounded!!

Mmm I think it is easier with two people. It is double glazing front doors that may cause a problem. Internal doors are quite straight forward. There are videos on youtube.

If they can take door off the fridge they will I think, but as it has it has water coming through the freezer door it might be more difficult, (side-by-side fridge freezers dont tend to have reversible doors though), so wanted to be prepared in case we have to take the kitchen exterior door off (it's easier to take things round back and through that way-only 1 door to get through as opposed to a front door up STEEP steps, right angle bend through a door, then another door!)
Thanks for all advice0 -

You are right, the doors are not changeable on the American ones, they have an ice dispenser in the door. Hope you get sorted, sorry for making fun. Seriously I thought I read beer, when it was bear. I spend far too much time at the Arms.
