I deleted my last post that's why it looks odd haha.

I'm sure it's listed on their website under complaints. Have you only sent this to EE call centre or have you taken it to CEO?

But I kinda agree with Sparx how he worded it. Maybe you are lucky as if an admin error, they could just an easily request that money back.
    Debt As Of 19/3/2021: £16,973 | Current Debt: £9,322 | 54.9% Repaid
  • I sent my original complaint about the £14 default to CEO and was taken by complaints team, I then escalated it to a manager last week and had the same replies. I definitely agree with both of you on how it is worded that it is almost certainly their error. Do you think I should drop this in this case now so as to avoid having to pay back the money refunded between February 2016 and now?

It's a tough one. What dates to the credit agencies show as DEFAULT date? It's 6 years from then it will fall off not 6 years from SETTLED date.

  • Default date of account 1 (the one I wanted removed) is 24/11/13 and account 2 is 24/04/12. I know that account 2 is the one that I'm disputing the satisfied date on and that it's only just over a year away but the rest of my defaults will drop off by October this year and I'm currently going through long and arduous process of payday loan interest refunds and trying to sort out my credit file. If you think that's its best to leave it be then I think I will just do that. Realistically I just want my credit file to be good enough so that I can move away from EE as I'm unfortunately stuck with them!
