Has anyone got any recommendations or companies to avoid for car rental for 10 days in Ibiza? The first i tried wanted to charge £40 extra for a parking fee, the second said it was full to full policy then said they would charge extra for the fuel when i got there. Its a good job i read the small print!

Avoid Goldcar and InterRent.

Many flights to Ibiza are late arrivals, often scheduled to arrive after the car hire place has closed, if you submit a booking with a car hire broker with a very late arrival, your booking will end up just 'pending' because the pick up time is when they are closed.

Do comparisons at https://www.carrentals.co.uk and https://www.travelsupermarket.com .
Select 'full to full' for the fuel and avoid those that aren't at the airport.
If there are ludicrously cheap prices, these are likely to be Goldcar and InterRent, so avoid those.
