iPhone 6/6s any deals out there on payg?
Options
Son being nagging me for an iPhone 6/6s. What is the difference between the two? Am looking for a payg phone, no contract unless it works out cheaper overall. He is a low user. At a quick glance the 6 is around £600 mark at argos. Thinking of buying second hand. Is there anything I need to be aware of? I heard battery is built in, can't be replaced. Might get one from cex if they offer a warranty.
Any advice?

Look for ones which say reset to factory settings.
I would get him a sim only deal. Start at £5 month. You get data minutes texts.0 -

Im surprised that Argos still stock the 6, are you sure? Your price also sounds expensive for the 6, the iPhone 6 has been discontinued for some time (September 2015).
The iPhone 6s direct from Apple is only £499.

The iPhone 6s is a better phone, it's stronger (remember the fuss about the iPhone 6 being prone to bending?) as Apple used a tougher grade of aluminium in its production, and it has double the RAM of the iPhone 6.
This might help with your decision.

As the 6s is still a current model it's also more futureproof that the older 6.====0 -
The 6S also have the touch sensitive screen.0

Just to add, just checked Argos.
Argos actually have the 64GB iPhone 6 (refurbished) for £379

And the 16GB iPhone 6 (refurbished) for £269

I'd probably still recommend the 6s for £499 direct from Apple if it's in your price expectation.====0 -
Get the 64Gb ones while you can :dance:0
