Does anyone have any recommendations for a satin-finish blush? I don't always want my blush to be completely matte but I'm not keen on shimmery blushes. I have a couple of baked blushes that have a nice sheen without having shimmer/glitter but I'd like to try some others.

    Have a nice weekend! :)

MAC powder blushes are one of my favorites. Some colors are more shimmery/satin/matte than others I think, just try a few at a counter when you have chance!

  • I'm IN for February if not a bit late...where is the time going!

Three UU to start me off today, none were having much effect in my bath so I used multiple things:
    LUSH Cinders bath bomb
    LUSH Think Pink bath bomb
    Botanica Bath Jelly
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Deleted_User - how do you rate the Superdrug eye makeup remover please? my 2 faves are Gatineau and Lancome, it would be good to find a bunny free, less expensive one that would shift UD eye pencil and waterproof mascara. Currently using a BS one, but could be better.

I use Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Make-up Remover, however, I wear very light eye make up so not sure if it would work for specific product you mention but for £2.99, it might worth a try.

    I have a uu

Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Mist 25ml - this came in a beauty box ages ago and I love it, I have another mini and have already purchased a full size. What I do not love however is the price.

Same. It makes my hair so shiny and soft, love it :D

Maddiemay - it's not bad. Doesn't sting my eyes but takes a few passes to get mascara off completely. I don't use waterproof mascara so not sure how it would manage with that. I haven't used a UD eye pencil recently but it gets my L'Oreal liquid eyeliner off ok and any black pencils I've been using. I think the B. Range at Superdrug has a micellar oil cleanser. I wonder if that might work for waterproof mascara? It's one of Superdrug's own brands so still CF as far as I know. :)

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
Got my first UU of Feb:
    1. Lily Flame Christmas Day Candle. WMBA. It was nice but the wick kept smoking and guttering which my other Lily Flame one didn't so maybe i was just unlucky with this one.

I also TA my Maybelline Great Lash Mascara that I was re-trying last week. I absolutely hated it. It was too wet, the brush was too small and I made a mess every time I tried it.

Swapped a few things around in my makeup basket for next week. I've replaced my 2 Zoeva palettes for a MUR rip off of UD Naked 3 and my Tarte Showstopper palette. Also got out a single L'Oreal eyeshadow in Metal Plum which I used to use all the time but I've neglected it recently. Changed my blushes for Body Shop Bubblegum which is a matte pink and Rimmel Santa Rose which I can't remember if it's too shimmery so it's on a trial run this week. If I don't like it, it's going. I have a stack of things that are on the 'last chance list'!

Benefit Rockateur is gorgeous. For baked blushers I like Laura Geller and NYX.

  • I managed to use up a few items last month.

PP carry over from last month:
A nude brown No. 7 High Shine Lip Crayon,
    A 20ml body lotion.
    A 40ml body lotion.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. 7.1ml Sample. ( I have the full size already)
Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer. 5ml Sample.
Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimising Primer. Sachet Sample.
1 sample of Benefit Brightening Eye Cream
    Benetint, 40ml.

    Feb PP:
    Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream. 50ml
Beauty Protector - Protect and Detangle leave in conditioner. From Birchbox, Love this!
    Loreal triple active moisturiser.
Estee Lauder advanced eye repair cream - 5ml.
  • Only one small UU to report following on from Daughters bath

Paddy's Bathroom Bubbly stuff sample WNBA Superdrug showergel or bubblebath works just as well for a fraction of the price.

Still no movement on the PP list although the Nivea crème is getting a bashing so hopefully this week will be gone entirely. Whole family has been tasked with using the B&H bubblebath. Team effort to get rid, hubby has even agreed as it doesn't smell of anything when in the bath water! Most products are full starts on my PP list so may be slow going this month.

I have a few INs from yesterday:

Nivea Stress Protect Roll On Deo
Nivea Protect & Care Roll On Deo
Nivea Pearl & Beauty Roll On Deo

So that's 3 INs but I am running low on my current one, and I wanted to get one to take to work and leave in my locker.
