Is it really possible to take nail polishes to CS? That could be a solution for my overflowing collection... (I don't officially count polish towards my items but I do have many I hardly use)

I work in a support function for a charity that has shops, and I believe that they can't sell nail polish.
But I'd recommend giving them a call before you take them in - each charity will have different products that they can't sell, so others may happily take them :)

Zuzi - most CS have a little basket near the till full of nail polish. I've donated it numerous times, I only send it if it is almost full and perfectly useable and in a clean bottle.

    I have a uu

Dr Organic Monoi Moisture Melt 100g - this is the second of 3 bottles I got from LIB boxes, it smells lovely and is moisturising but I can only use it after a bath as it has to be melted (I put it in the bath). I do actually prefer body butters/creams/lotions to oils. The third bottle has been put in the bathroom to replace this. WNBA.

I don't think I will finish anything else so my totals for February are:

    In 3 (bought 2 plus 1 gift) Spent £3

    UU - 23
    GA - 11

Of the 11 GA's one was the Smashbox Double Exposure palette which I have given to DD. I used it for this month but I really don't love it, some of the shadows are nice, some are complete fails and it is missing a matte cream and a matte neutral crease colour imo.

    morning all,

2 more UU over the weekend:

UU: Elemis Skin Bliss Capsules: WDBA - My skin loves these! have another in stash but will wait a little while before using them and try and use up a few other things.
UU: Ren body moisturizer - WNBA, it was a lovely smell and did the job but nothing special.

I currently have 3 items left on my PP list - confident one will go tonight but suspect I will be carrying over the remaining 2.

Think I will have a UU on eye shadow from pallet over the coming days - this excites me way more than it should!

    One TA:

Lush Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner sample I'm not going to use this any time soon and Lush hair care has damaged my hair in the past, so I'm not even risking it.

27 L'Occitane Uktra Rich cream sample sachet. In a bit to meet my pledge of 28 products I've used this but pleased I have. My skin is so parched because of this cold. Feels really soothed now and live the smell of L'Occitane Shea.

Emma left behind an "empty bottle of E45 lotion. Have cut it open and have used some. Still some left for tomorrow.

    Hope everyone is well.
    uus:
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Bottle - WNBA. I used to love this but others work far better. A few more in the stash to UU.
Body Shop Pinita Collada Shower Gel-WNBA even if I could. Texture of this was awful compared to other BS.
Garnier Honey Treasures Mask - WBA, this worked well, another left in stash.
Ormovciza Rejuvenating Night Cream 5ml -WMB, really liked the texture of this.
Ren Bio Retinoid Anti-Aging Cream 3ml - unsure with this one, could have done with it being a bit bigger to make up my mind.
Caudalie VInosource Moisturising Sorbet 10ml -WB, have several others of this size in the stash.

    Ins:
Maybeline Dream Velvet foundation - bought because of the money back guarantee. Really not loving some of my higher end foundations at the moment, so thought I'd give this a try seeing as could get the money back if its no good.
Lee Stafford Fix it treatment x4 - reduced to £1 in local boots and in conjunction with points offer means they were free so couldn't turn these down! I remember really liking one of the other masks in his range so hopefully these are as good. Going through hair masks so quickly at the moment because my hair is so damaged :(

Thanks to all your tips re: donating nail polish! I have long been planning a declutter of this category, have done a few over the last years and I currently have 75 of them (I did a quick count)...

I love Essie and YSL and Loreal (while they had the small bottles) - I also have a lot of mini Essies so I guess it's not too bad in terms of volume (well not for me anyway, as I do have my stash spread across several locations and the numbers only apply to my place in London LOL)

My nail polish tends to last really long, I always use base and top coat, I've only had my nails done professionally once. I don't use that much makeup anyway so my nails tend to be the most colourful bit on me, and I really enjoy painting them. But I do tend to only use a small proportion of my total collection so was thinking I might find a more appreciative home for some of them...

I'll do my final Feb update tomorrow and finally declare my stash in March, I think. This month has been fun, looking forward to even more UUs next month!!
