It is getting tight to UU up much more in 2 days, but here are 2 more:D
15ml NIOD CAIS 9/17 Have bought again.
200ml Alpha-H Balancing cleanser 10/18 although I have liked this, I think that there are too many I find better now to buy again.
I have moved a 6ml sample of moisturiser and the Molton Brown hand cream where I cannot fail to see them, should then manage to finish them in time for this challenge:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Is it really possible to take nail polishes to CS? That could be a solution for my overflowing collection... (I don't officially count polish towards my items but I do have many I hardly use)
I painted my nails with Lancome 112B today, very pretty shiny coral red I have had for years. I think this may be one of the first bottles EVER I will need to TA due to being used up (or almost UU). It hasn't gone gloopy at all yet so hats off. I have three Lancome polishes and I love them all.
Last week I had YSL Beige Leger on my nails, my favourite nude, works SO well with my skin colour. I must admit I already have another one in stash as there was a 500 Boots points voucher in their magazine about a month ago and I love YSL nail polish, if I could only keep one brand it would be them. I always wear my polishes with an Essie base coat and top coat (I alternate between Good to go and Gel setter). I have tried Seche Vite in the past but it made many of my polishes shrink terribly.
Interesting debate about Burt's Bees, I am about to UU their deep cleansing cream. It took a bit of time to get used to the intense sensation but I quite like it for the mornings, it gives me that necessary freshness kick.0 -
14) UU L'Occitane soap. This is a lovely soap, but I wouldn't buy their soaps again as my local TK Maxx always has lots of good quality soaps for a couple of quid.Interesting debate about Burt's Bees, I am about to UU their deep cleansing cream. It took a bit of time to get used to the intense sensation but I quite like it for the mornings, it gives me that necessary freshness kick.
I hate BB. Their products always really upset my skin. I have dry, sensitive skin and seem to find any skincare range that is marketed as natural etc etc gives me problems. The mass-produced mainstream brands are so much better for me. What frustrates me is that the hippy dippy natural ranges are often pushed towards us sensitive gals, but they often do contain ingredients that are known to cause reactions.0 -
So I went to Boots today for Beecham tablets cos I have this cold that is going around. At the moment it's al, in my head and I feel cold all the time.
As my double points perk runs out in 2 days I picked up a mascara. Got the Revlon Dramatic Definition one. Have a Laura a geller Glamlash on the go which is starting to get clumpy and in stash only have mini Urban Decay Subversion.
Am still hoping to finish 2 more items this month. My L'Occitane hand cream is wrapped around one of their keys and my Liz Earle IBST is very light. I have been spraying this onto my Laura Geller Balance and Brighten to get more use from it.
Have "ordered" a Liz Earle hand cream from QVSell today. Can't see this arriving before end of Feb.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. One UU for the evening:
Lush The Sicilian bath bomb WMBA. This was lovely. Such a refreshing scent. It was a fast fizzer though.0 -
Last minute trio of UUs:
15. Lush Unicorn Horn WBA. They still had this left in my nearest shop. If it's still there next time I'm in town I might pick up a couple. After all according to my spreadsheet I only have 40 bath bombs/bubble bars left :rotfl:
16. Alberto Balsam Damage Repair Conditoner WDBA. Had already repurchased.
17. Vichy Anti-Dandruff Shampoo WBA. Although this has SLS in it and I'm still sticking with sulphate free shampoos in general from now on (will still use up what I've already got) this is still a very good treatment shampoo when my scalp is super-itchy so I WBA. I don't think my problem is technically dandruff but this helps anyway.
Can't see getting any more UUs before the end of Feb so scores for the month are:
UU 17
IN 16
TA 1
GA 2
Stash now 455, down from 459 end of Jan, 490, beginning of Jan. At least it's going down!0 -

UU the last bit of a LUSH Holly Golightly bubble bar. Love this, think I've still two left from last year, thankfully I went over board, none to be seen at this years sale.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
I got 2 of the coconut foot creams for Christmas and I really like it! Different strokes for different folks I guess!
It's an efficient foot cream in many respects, but it's mostly lanolin, which I don't like, I find it far too sticky. I prefer foot creams with urea.
Another Burt's Bees acquisition - and a hand cream on the way! NBI natch.
Here's the cocoa butter and cupuacu butter body lotion review
I used and have reviewed the expensive 5 use 'instant facelift' treatment. It's dried egg white, as I suspected. I liked the collagen lotion that went on afterwards, though.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
