OK., if you remember I said I would cull some lip products. Today I have TA a Smashbox lipgloss called Radiant. I've owned it at least three years and there is a patch in the tube where I can see the product is only clinging onto the sides. Had to keep dipping the wand to get product on so it's gone.

I also TA a couple of days ago an Urban Decay eyeliner called Cosmic. I was used it on my inner rim. Have decided to purge all eyeliners with the exception of the Urban Decay Zero and Vice ones I use as I jsut don't reach for them. I really love the Kat von D Tattoo liner and want to keep using felt tip types rather than pencils. The Zero one does tend to run as well.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    One UU this morning:

Paula's Choice Calm Redness Relief Normal to Oily Cleanser sample WMB. I thought I'd just use the last sample of this and the last sample from the Calm sample set. It was nice, but the smell is off putting for me, so probably won't purchase.

My skin seems to be a bit weird lately, so a very simple routine for me today, just cleanse, moisturise, and sunscreen for me today.

Had to make a trip to Superdrug as Emma is home this weekend and has developed a rash. Saw a GP near Uni yesterday who didn't diagnose anything untoward however I've stocked up on antihistamines, calamine lotion, cotton wool and unfragranced shower gel for her.

I did get myself two x hair dye kits (Revlon) as they were on offer and 2 x Sally Hanson nail colours (10% off also). One is a great dupe for my OPI Off With her Red called Right Said Red and they also have one called Off with her Red which I found myself compelled to buy. Looks similar to OPI By Popular Vote that I own. I have no good reason for buying this other than it is Pay Day. x

    NBIs.

Burt's Bees Aloe and Buttermilk Body Lotion

Burt's Bees Mama Bee Leg and Foot Cream

Not so good and here's why:

    Burt's Bees Nature Starter Kit
The description is misleading, bit gutted to get a product I hated previously included in the kit, when the description said otherwise.

    Liked this though:
Burt's Bees Honey and Shea Body Butter

And this: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Total Cover Foundation Warm Rose

I got a hive of it a while back as the hive was being sold off cheap, some old stock was heavily discounted due to remercandizing. It does not stay stable for years. Don't bee hoarding it'- bee fast in using it up. The creams tended to turn if stored for a good while. The bath salts really turned the fastest.

Don'-t bee hanging on too long to used this range up, it's lovely and you deserve to use it at its peak quality!

Thanks, you are a honey. Hopefully I wasn't too waspish in my review comments. Hive had many Burt's Bees items now and they have bee-n tremendously variable in their quality.

    Another sample UU:

Lush Helping Hands hand cream sample WNB. Blegh. This smells horrible. And way too greasy for my hands. So I've used it on my feet.
  • I have UUs and INs to report...

Lush old father time soap sample- WMBA i do like the design and scent of this but its a highly staining one! Left red staining on my flannel and made the sink and soap dish red and messy when i used it. It wasnt as much of a latherer as my others from lush either. I do have a full size of this in stash.

Boots mediterranean lemon orange and grape shower gel 50ml - WMBA nice enough and nice scent but i think this is long discontinued. Lathers up really well and is a decent consistency.

St Ives refreshing facial cleansing wipes- WBA these were a bargain in poundworld. These are great quality wipes, smell pleasant and do the job really well. If i see these in there again will grab some more.

Lush love potion massage bar- WBA really liked this, had a sort of spiced apple smell. I love the design and enjoyed using this one. Think i may have another of these stashed.

Lush lemon sherbert showder sample- WNBA i wanted to like this but didnt get on with it at all. I think if i want a lemon smell i prefer refresher jelly or back for breakfast gel. Its a pain to use as you have to tip a bit on yourself and get it wert to induce a lather to wash with. I couldny achieve much of a lather and used a whole sample trying. Didnt make me feel clean and i couldnt smell it on myself afterwards at all which was disappointing.

Lush daddy o shampoo sample- WBA as full size. I loved the palma violets scent and it did the job well.

    And ins:

    Lush coconut deodorant powder
    Lush beautiful shower gel 500g
Lush b never too busy to be beautiful shower gel 500g
    Lush soft couer massage bar
    Lush santas belly shower jelly
    Lush beautiful shower gel sample
    Lush cupid bath bomb
Lush phoenix rising bomb x 3
Lush penguin bubble bar x 2

    X 12 in

Yep i went a little mad this month... Got to cut down next month. I started my new job on monday though thankfully although wont get my pay until end of next month. Really enjoying new job so far and survived my first week!

    One TA:

Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Creme WNBA. This was causing me a lot of problems, and after stopping using it, my skin wasn't reacting to anything.

I've also noticed that I can use hand creams with mineral oil again. I'm not reacting to it any more. Hm.
  • I have INs again. Oops.
10-11. 2x Alberto Balsam Conditioner - Damage Repair & Stunning Shine - I really like these and spotted them in £land so got some spares.
    12. Rimmel Kate Moss Lip Balm - Love this, my current one is almost out and this is often sold out in my local Superdrug so grabbed it now.
    13. Rimmel Wake Me Up Extreme Black Mascara. Got sucked in to the Buy One Get One Half Price. I'm using the normal Black version of this and I love it.
    14. Waitrose Orchid and Honeysuckle Body Butter - Don't normally shop in Waitrose but popped in for a couple of bits and strayed to the toiletry aisle!
    15. Lush Your Mother Should Know Bubble Bar
    16. Lush Ups A Daisy Bath Bomb

I only got two bits from the Mother's Day range in Lush. Either didn't like the scents or didn't like the fact that they would turn the water yellow - I do find that offputting! There are a few bits in the Easter range I will want to look at - the girl in the shop said it's mid-March for Easter stuff.

Got one UU - my Kiko Kiss Balm off my PP list. I really liked this. There is a bit more in the base of the tube but it's too far down to reach. WBA but my nearest Kiko is Bluewater and I only go there a couple of times a year.

Gemzie - so pleased to hear your new job has started so well!

Can't believe we're nearly at the end of Feb!
Have a good weekend everyone! :)
