No signal on EE?

This has been on going since December, at my home address no signal. I have been onto EE countless times who admit there is a problem saying the mast has been downgraded, Level 2 don't really know what to do as they can see they can't do anything but won't let me out of contract.

I have emailed the CEO who has been in touch and they done damn all,

They have sent me a signal box which due to my low broadband speed never seems to work. There position now is I need to badger my ISP to get broadband working better so I can use the signal box.

Any ideas on what to do next?

Ask for termination of contract and change to O2, Voda,Tesco or anyone that doedsn't rely on EE masts.

    Our exchange isn't fibre enabled.

I did, they said they will fix it, how I don't know as they need to put up a new mast, they have already paid 2 months line rental, are they prepared to do this for the remaining 10 months?

The point is, getting a "free" service that doesn't work is no use to you. And you can also get a cheaper deal elsewhere from a virtual network running on O2 or Vodafone, or possibly even 3 (although 3 doesn't work for me).

Or put up with the lack of signal at home for an indeterminate period of time with rental refunded. Seems to me you have all the information to decide.

This is presuming he can get a signal from anybody, if not their options are made very simple.

so you are getting a mobile for free but it doesn't work at home?

It's not all bad then ;) Well unless someone tried to ring you.

Get a free sim from O2 and vodafone. See what single works well for you at home and work etc. or course if your phone is locked, it will need unlocking.

The get a 30 day SIM only plan from one of the cheap mvo's

I have calls diverted to a Vodafone pay and go sim, it's not ideal as I have 2 numbers on the go now and have to mess around swapping SIM cards and turning diverts on and off
