thanks cherry
Have been crunching numbers over and over and think it's a plan for moving forward.
A long much needed heart to heart between myself and DH. Tears and tantrums over. It actually sounds like we're 10
I actually wrote on my kitchen chalk board everything that's been niggling and causing stress recently. Things that both of us have added to our journey backwards. We both then got a tissue and physically wiped the slate clean as it were.
Feeling happier already
Promises made on both sides and agreement to move forwards together from here on in.
Good luck to us

Lovely to hear from you motivated, but sorry you have had such a time of things. Your list of things you are thankful for are what you need to cling to. Good that you have had a heart to heart with OH, it’s hard keeping a marriage going through thick and thin. You’re right get the pen and paper out and get a realistic budget done. Do you both allow yourself some treat money in it? Maybe a regular date night with OH too even if it’s one drink down the pub. Just a suggestion. Keep posting and we can support you all the way, don’t feel bad, we all have challenges to face and you are back here and that is a great start :TTotal weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Thank you arsenalbarnie for your words of encouragement it is much appreciated.
Just waiting for DHs wages to hit the bank and we will be off (not shopping) :rotfl: sorry couldn't resist.
We started giving ourselves a little spending money but we've slacked and been too flippant. But we will definitely be getting back on track with this one from today. We both have a Monzo account separate from everything, this is where our own personal spending money will go. This will also make us aware of exactly how much we have to spend and budget accordingly. I Plan to make a small overpayment on something today just as a little boost.
Feeling positive again. Been up early and done all housework and laundry. All signs of Christmas gone (except chocolate) and to be honest I'm glad as it wasn't a good one this year. Still that is behind us now no point in dwelling eh.
Thanks again all :A

Cheering you on from the sidelines Motivated.
You certainly won't get judgment here. If anything, the fact you've come back to your diary shows immense bravery and highlights that not all is lost.My LBM May 2017, DH LBM July 2017- Total Debt (not Including Mortgage) £46444.23 £40773.61 /£46444.23 87.8% paid0 -
Hi Mummy Bear and thank you. I nearly never came back I can tell you. Already I'm so glad I did and never buried my head as I have in the past.
Now looking where I'm going and not where I've been
