Well done on avoiding the temptation of a top up shop, it all helps to keep the pennies in your purse" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Am slightly  tonight as I've just realised one of our CCs payments was due yesterday. I can't remember the last time I paid something late or not paid at all. I mean it's been over 15 years since that happened. Just need to try and stay positive and remind myself that we are paying back all we owe but by smaller payments.
The letters and calls will probably start to come now and I hope it's not too stressful. I have been advised to speak to them, tell them I am working with Stepchange and give them my reference number. Then ask/ tell them not to call and to put everything in writing in future.
Managed to find £12.19 by rounding down accounts. Added this to my second savings account which now stands at £66.06 :T. This is the account that I am building for my bigger expenses such as car insurance car tax etc. My first savings account is looking after our emergency fund. Only to be touched in an absolute emergency.
Enjoying this organisation it helps to keep me motivated and on track.
Also I have still avoided a top up shop :j. I made a lovely dinner from Slimming World as I had all the ingredients in and it made enough for lunch at work tomorrow so a double whammy there.
Anyway enough about finances I am watching Benidorm :rotfl: to help take my mind off the debt for a while otherwise I won't sleep too well.

Just wanted to cheer you on - very well done for a solid start!
I'm fascinated by your mood and stress gauges. So nice to see such low numbers there! Long may it continue, and if ever they do start to creep up again, remember the Debt Free Wannabes are always there to help.

Hi cherry I love the fact that there are so many inspirational and supportive people on here. It's what is keeping me going and what made me sit up and act in the first place. Also I don't expect my mood to stay at 10/10 forever but I'm enjoying it while it lasts
Thank you all

Just had a thought too
Isn't it weird how when we had lots of unsused credit on CCs I would buy things as and when I thought I would. Now we have some money in the bank like savings etc I don't want to buy anything. Like how I need a top up shop but have been holding out hopefully until tomorrow when DH gets paid and I can work from my budget. Any other time I would have thought oh well I'll take CC x y or z and off I'd go and buy far too much stuff.
I feel that my whole mindset has changed and I now know that this is my true LBM
