I think your first set of guests were very rude showing up an hour and a quarter before the time you invited them. That would have made me feel a bit panicked.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

That would be lovely @foxgloves, I've got 5 books to read and I have dropped out of reading the book club book this month.
I've run the washing machine twice so far with a third load in now (the first ran from 01.00-03.30 followed by the dishwasher, and overnight charge up of the solar battery, all at night rate electricity). One load (90 degree wash of dishcloths, tea towels and table linen) dry and put away having "ironed" it on the hot plate of the aga. It is on, we are paying for it and so I use it for everything (no electric kettle, no iron, no toaster here in winter!). Second load is on the top of the plates, arranged around these, spread out on the warming plate, and in the airing cupboard on hangers. The bedding is in and on now, now it is sunny, so the solar is running this final load, and it will be going out on the washing line.
As well as washing and studying, with a little catch up on here with coffee, we plan to tackle a clump of brambles while the ground is soft enough to get the rooted strands out. Blue skies but a bit cold at the moment.
DH has a list too. He has so far fed the sourdough and will fill the kindling bucket, check my tyres (the light has come on) and wash out the black dustbin after the dustmen have collected it, as the hose is still out! I might nudge him to put it and the barbecue away too. We are unlikely to use it again this year. It does involve getting lots of stuff out of the pig-shed, reorganising it and packing it all back in again.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

SL - In our neck of the woods, RM is great for small packages from the Big River, but heaven forbid they get given a large subscribe & save box. My last one went missing when they left it on my front step despite me having asked for it to be kept at the post office as it was a day late and we were out! I had to argue with Big River customer service reps for about 5 hours over the course of 3 days to get a refund!
An hour and a quarter early? Wow - I'd have left them to their own devices (maybe with a drink) and gone to freshen up and change into the planned outfit! Most of my friends arrive late so I'm fretting over the dinner in the oven... I'm not sure an hour or more early would work for me at all! I prefer the dinner is ruined because you were late to dinner is ruined because I was in a tizz excuse!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

From G00gle
In the UK and Ireland, Campbell Soup was rebranded as Batchelors Condensed Soup (UK) and Erin (Ireland) in March 2008, when the license to use the brand name expired. Premier Foods, headquartered in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, bought the Campbell Soup Company in the UK and Ireland for £450 million ($830 million) in 2006 but was licensed to use the brand only until 2008. Under this agreement, the US-based Campbell Soup Company continued to produce Campbell's Condensed Soup but could not sell the product in the UK for a further five years
