Elite Management (midlands) LTD - 19 min over stay

Options
Hi, I've read the neewbie sticky thread but can't seem to find any relevant advice.

My parents were shopping and over stayed their parking ticket by 19mins. They received a window ticket (Dec 10th 2016) and ignored it foolishly. Today they recieved a NTK letter dated Jan 25th 2017, requesting payment of the now £100 (risen from the £60 if paid within 14 days) or requesting driver details etc.

Is there anything they can do now or has the appeal limit passed? Do this company bother with court action? Any advice will be great. As I say I read the newbie thread but couldn't make sense of anything to link to this.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like you can't read the NtK either. Does it not say about the Registered Keeper having a time limit to appeal?

Please go back and re-read the NEWBIES thread again. Hundreds of people have done so and are either working through their appeals or have won. Afew may have lost too.

If you can't understand it, then you may have difficulties in doing an appeal.

Sorry to sound harsh, but winning is in the detail and you have to be able to cope with detail.

So from what I understand they should reply and name the driver which will reset the process and allow them time to appeal, at which point they write a letter using the template provided. Is this correct?

Oh, and the letter states if the keeper was the driver then the oppourtunity to appeal has passed.

Can anyone confirm this is the correct way to proceed?

only a fool would name the driver unless there are special reasons to do so (which is rare)

decide which ATA they are in and then the keeper named on the NTK sends the appropriate template (there are only 2 so easy enough to do)

then read the advice on what happens after that (popla or ignore)

and a landholder cancellation is ALWAYS THE BEST WAY FORWARD anyway
  • Ok that's great. Thanks for your help

Ok so after receiving an email saying they're looking into the appeal and will contact us again soon. We now have received this letter from 'ZZPS' asking for £172 etc. I've tried uploading an image, hosting it elsewhere but I can't post links as I'm a new user.

Any suggestions on what to do next? We've not heard whether the appeal has been a success or not. Just got this.

Email the parking firm and ask where the appeal outcome is.

Whatever they say, do not pay, no-one here will tell you to pay.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
