I’m in a similar position re mortgage, until I’m actually physically in the new place I don’t want to take any risks. No matter how much other people say oh it’ll be fine. I have too much experience of things not being fine 😂
I feel like I shouldn’t be saying this on MSE, but having checked out their tax calculator the salary calculator website is much better for me with my various benefits in kind etcDebt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

My pleasure! I think they make Premier the default when you sign up which is quite sneaky of them. Glad you've been able to change it to ClassicSunshine_girl2 said:Thanks for the tip on someone else's diary about topcashback and premier costing me £5 a year , I thought everyone paid it . Anyway it's been changed to classic now . Love tips like this .

I'm exactly the same! I've got no appetite for taking risks until the mortgage is done and dusted and we're in the new placeastrocytic_kitten said:I’m in a similar position re mortgage, until I’m actually physically in the new place I don’t want to take any risks. I also like the salary calculator website more than the MSE one, it's much more accurate when incorporating benefits in kind and various allowances.4 -

not sure if you know this one but o2 use to do a pay and go sim if you topped up by £10 it gave about 3-500 minutes and so many texts. worth considering. also play the retention department tricks with the existing provider as they will always move on the price when you are out of contractGeorgianaCavendish said:Ah, that's good to know - thank you @peb !2
