Drp plus ltd parking charge

Options
Hi guys,
So my story, i work in London and used my moped to go to work, where i work its a residential building and its monitoring by PPC named Park Direct Uk.
I have been parked there since i started working the last 3 years never received a ticket.
on the 8/11/16 i received a charge notice on my moped and given to the concierge office where i work and asked to be cancelled. they told me its alright dont worry about it. So i gave it and they supposed to deal with it.
After about 2 months i received another letter from the same company asked me to pay the unpaid ticket £100. (at first they where asking 60 if i could pay in 14 days).
So i went to talk to the guys at the concierge because of course i didnt have the ticket in my positions and they told me to ignore the letter... and now they cannot cancel tickets etc.. i dont really understand but ok.. i did ignore for about a month and today i received another letter from a debt recovery company called DRP PLUS LTD. They are asking me to pay £160 for this parking charge, and it states at the bottom that if i dont pay they may send me to the court.

They questions is, instead of me wastin my saliva and talk to people who dont have clue, should i pay this ticket or keep ignoring?? they guys at work told me that they cannot do anything and it will cost them more to send me to the court. They only do if you have alot of unpaid tickets..??? please any advise! thanks for reading.

Same links as here, please no more threads about Debt Recovery Plus (search the forum for their name if bored and having time on your hands!):

    and here:

Follow the link within those threads and read the info already here. Today is like Groundhog Day, the first page tells you what to do re DRPLus!

...and read the 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST!' back where you hit 'new thread'. Nothing has changed about DRPlus letter advice for a decade. Ignore it. Come back if ParkDirect start a claim and no updates about each letter in the chain are needed otherwise (Zenith being DRPlus as well, as you will find out when your search the forum)

Do i have to pay ?
No. You can only be told you must pay by a judge. No one else in this world.
Do i need to do anything or just ignore the letters?
Did you read the links given by CM? I suspect not as they have IGNORE written all over them! You do not ignore real court papers.
Is there anyway i will have to pay a huge amount if they send me to court??
About £175 - £200 if you lose, but you have just as much chance of winning, and then you will be applying for costs against them. They won't 'send' you to court. They will issue a small claim. You're not involved in a criminal issue.
The first ticket was for 100 pounds and now asking 160..??
Standard jacking up of the amount to cause anxiety and panic. Seems to be working!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
