Keep her indoors - you need to monitor what comes out as well as what she eats while she is so poorly.0

Thank you everyone for your advice and good wishes.
Breadcat is back at the vets tonight for an overnight satay with a drip (goodness knows how they are going to keep that in)
She had good results for kidney and liver function, and the vet maintains that she is probably run down after a virus from a bite from another cat.
I pick her up tomorrow.
Thank you for the cat soup suggestions and I will pass on all your hugs.
She is called Breadcat as she was "the scrawny cat eating the bread we put out for the birds",
( and yes we moved heaven and earth to find an original owner, but no luck)
Now she rules our house and our hearts.0 -
I hope your cat recovers soon.0

Hope Breadcat is fine and happily at home.
I had the same problem with my year old boy this week, vet gave antibiotics and injected 2 large syringes of saline under his coat and said this would absorb into his blood stream to rehydrate. 2 days later and whilst I don't think hes 100% he is getting there, eating small amounts and has just ventured out but straight back in because of the rain!0
