Well Breadcat has been to the vet because she has not been eating properly for the last couple of days.
She had a temp and was dehydrated and he thought she had an infection. Needs to go back tomorrow if appetite does not improve.
So question is should I lock the cat flap and stick out the litter tray so she does not bolt overnight (she is seriously p****ed off at having been to the vet) or will that stress her more?

Definitely keep her in - sick cats have a tendancy to crawl away to die under a hedge somewhere.0

Definitely keep her in.
There are drugs that the vet can prescribe to kick start her appetite. Our cat was given Mirtazapine and she started eating again within an hour of the pill going in!

Our cat went out we were very unsure but he so much loves being outside. He did come back, he was ill for a few weeks but sadly we had to PTS today.
I hope your cat recovers. if you can keep them in I would.0 -

Rarely do cats like going to the vet. My current one - afterwards rushes upstairs, to recover. But there have been times when she wanted to go out - especially on the rare time have an 'accident' on the way there.
I'd be inclined to let it out - especially if your garden is enclosed - gives the cat a chance to unwind, maybe drink some water, and/or eat some grass.
On another thread here (for CRF) suggested adding warm water to a food pouch - more of a lumpy soup, would help with the dehydration.
Or, try something like diced lambs liver - a rare cat that will resist that!
Good luck.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
