Balance transfer a money-transfer balance?

Hi all,

Quick question that you wise stoozers will hopefully be able to help me with!

Basically, I just want to confirm whether I can transfer a balance built up by money transfer to another card and have it treated just like any other balance transfer. I.e. if I have a card with £4000 balance because of 0% money transfer and £1000 from 0% purchases, once the 0% offer expires can I transfer that balance to another card no problem?

Or will the new 0% card somehow detect that some of the old balance relates to a money transfer and charge interest on the £4000 (in the same way that cash withdrawals are treated differently from purchases)?

Thanks!
