Harry - please could you read the new to forum section HERE before posting.
Self promotion is not permitted and competitions are to be posted in a certain way, we also ask for you to not duplicate competitions already posted as people can loose track of what they have already entered and the Board Guides give up their free time to moderate the forum and this adds more work for them having to merge posts. Thanks.Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0 -

self promotion is against the rules on MSE but I can't spot the link here?
also anyone entering via Harry's post would have probably entered via yours anyway, even if his had been removed, so he hasn't had any extra traffic (excuse the pun)

Because no one would sign up for an account today navigate the overwhelming ness of MSE find the comp board & post one comp.
Glad when we click the report button to report sp does that go to the BG's as well as the forum team or just one or the other.
Sorry Glad I've just realised I've not answered the rest of your question,
What bloggers get out of getting their comps onto MSE is more blog visits & entries into their comps. When company's look for bloggers to promote their products either just reviewing them or offering a comp as well is how many people visit this blog? how active are they on social media how many people follow them & so on. Bloggers with blogs that are low in followers & not many people visit their blog then they will not be picked to promote company's products which could just be payment by getting the product to keep & or being paid as well. And once they have promoted one product from one company that increases their blog traffic so get more products to promote, more to keep & more money & so it goes on.
So even though someone has posted their comp already by putting it on again more people will click through to their blog which means they get their blog traffic up & if anyone missed it first time round more entries.
I don't care who posts the blog comps, I get nothing from posting them in fact I've won a lot less this month posting them here than I have before when posting nowhere or elsewhere. That's why some bloggers/blogger friends/family dupe the comps onto the board, even though it does not mean compers dupe themself because you can't on raffs & gleams it's cheating for the profit of the bloggerIt's TicketyBoo To Be TickTwo!0
