Sorry poor English on my part.

The building management company have not sub contracted to UKCPM.

Weird though there signs are everywhere?

    Smells of a fob-off!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Currently investigating who has sub contracted UKCPM.

The legal firm have no contact details apart from one number which diverts automatically to the Debt management company, feels like a scare tactic? Will check if they are registered with the appropriate body?

Both the landlord and Letting agent have confirmed that the parking space is owned by the landlord and is private property. (I have proof via land registry documentation).

I think you should go straight for the jugular, issue a LBC (to Gladstones but aimed at UKCPM) and then sue UKCPM, for a few hundred quid.

Read hairray's thread for a decent LBC. Show us your version, based on that one.

Who are investigating "who has subcontracted UK CPM"?
I can only be either the Freeholder or more likely the Management Agents. I would be utterly gobsmacked if UK CPM are working without any agreement whatsoever yet are taking people to court.

Has the MA changed recently or anything like that?

EDIT: and if you were to prove that UK CPM are operating without an agreement with anyone at all then I know a chap at ITV who would probably love to hear about it (let alone your MP, police [trespass] etc.)
  • Hi all,
I have read the NEWBIE sticky and am going to appeal my charge notice. However, I am finding it hard to find to just accept that appealing is enough.
I currently study at a college in Bristol and my husband who had parked in the car park received this charge notice through the post.
I understand that being part of the IPC, they can pay to get my husbands details, however what I don't understand is why they've issued it.
Obviously, it states that the reason he was charged was "failure to pay for the duration of the stay", yet the college informed us to use their website to register our cars for an e-permit to prevent this from happening. So, I suppose my question is; why has he been charged? I have emails proving it but how likely is it that we're not going to successful.
Really confused, other students I speak with have done the same process and have not been charged.
    Sorry, just confused.
    Many thanks!

How did you get on with the management company, as advised previously?

You need to start your own thread but the answer to force an early cancellation, is an assertive complaint to the college, for failure to exempt the car properly via the e-permits system.

This isn't the OP, not her thread.
