My good lady wife recently came across this company, Smart Currency Exchange, whilst on A Place In The Sun website. I was wondering if anyone has had any involvement with SCE, what was your experience and are they recommended? Ta

And Judith Chalmers used to promote Timeshare on TV.........does not make it a good deal does it.

I used them to exchange tidy sums on four occaisons, no problems. You'll find business cards for them in some estate agents. Among the best rates you'll find. There is better it seemed too much hassle to send scans of passports to XE for their account

There's plenty of hype on their website, but no apparent way to see their fees for a <£3000 transfer or the exchange rate they will give you, without giving them all your details including phone number! Thanks, but no thanks.
