can't post from IE

As of yesterday any posts that I try from IE11 turn up as blank and I get a "your message is not long enough" error.
what gives here?

This has only happened to me when I tried to post just three words. You can add a quote, or add some smilies, that will work.

I assumed he meant he was trying to post more then ten characters but was still getting an error message; maybe I'm wrong.0

yep I am posting more than 10 words (or whatever)
the problem is that the act of pressing Send obliterates my post and the system thinks I am sending a blank message0
