I had a call saying the pixies are going to leave a pot of gold at the bottom of the garden - is that true as well?Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

I get phoned by them and I've not even had an accident.
They just keep trying phone numbers randomly until someone says 'oh yes, I have...'
Always let the 'phone ring for a bit before answering.
Most nuisance callers use auto diallers and ring a dozen folks at a time, and connect the ones that answer to any free minimum wage workers. (So there is no need to be rude & aggressive to the minimum wage drones, they need the money, and probably nuisance caller wasn't their first choice)
If you wait a short while there isn't a free operator, and you get a dead line so you hang up without too much trouble, or your mum thinks you were in the kitchen etc. so no harm done.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Total and utter scam. If you're in a playful frame of mind, say something like "I've had 4 accidents in the last 2 years, which one are you calling about ?" With any luck, you'll get transferred to a "supervisor" and can have a lot of fun with him/her about your supposed "claim".
Sorry, these guys are just parasites. If you want to swear like a trooper at them, it's nothing more than they deserve. Personally, I like to keep them on the line as long as possible, make up more and more improbable stories, and wait for them to hang up when they realise you're taking the p**s. Oh, and then block the number, of course.0 -

OP, more than likely they've bought your details from another company. Don't worry though, because once you've told this company you aren't interested, in a few weeks you'll get a different company ringing up about the same thing. I had a no fault accident in 2012 and I got 2 to 3 calls a month from different claim companies for 3 years. All I had to do was sign a form and I'd get £5k because of stress and anxiety. I got fed up of telling them my insurance company handled everything brilliantly, nobody was injured, stress or anxious, and I was totally satisfied with the whole process etc. etc. etc. After 3 years you can't claim anything, so they leave you alone.0
