    To be fair to him ytfc, the potential installer isn't pushing triple glazing. He did have the Platinum NRG leaflet. It is from this that I have been quoting their figures. The graph I have mentioned shows a dotted line at a U value of 1.6, which it claims to be the building regs minimum standard. It says C rated double glazed meet this. Do you recognise that to be accurate from your experience?
