Multiple APCOA fines

Hello,
I am in a real pickle with APCOA. I received 8 separate parking fines from the post(All posted on the same day).
I parked at the Slough train station on a number of occasions after receiving bad advice from a friend. I was under the assumption, they would leave a ticket on your vehicle. Some 20 days letters, eight letters were posted thought my letter box demanding 100 pounds for each offence (50% if paid within 14 days of course)
Can someone advise what I should to to remedy this situation ? I don't want to pay off the hefty fine.
This would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently APCOA never do court, so you can probably ignore the whole thing. But, as others advise, go to the Motoring Board. There's a special thread dealing with this type of begging letter.0
