Going trough a divorce, please help

    OP, you can look or a solicitor using the Resolution website (http://www.resolution.org.uk/) which can help you find a family lawyer in your area. However, solicitors do need to do ID checks etc and it is more difficult if you don't met face to face.

    In relation to your daughter the aim would be to work out what is in her best interests. It is unlikely that moving to a different country would be seen as in her best interests. A court has to consider (among other factors) how able each paretn is of caring for her and what the impact would be on her of any changes. So if you do look for shared care, or full residence, once you are back in the UK, you would have to show how you planned to manag her care around your work requirements and also that the disrution of moving from living with mum, to moving to live with you, would be offset by specifc benefits for for so that the change was over all in her best interests.
