If you were parking fine, then why are they hassling you?
anyway, do a search for Airport stopping, there s a whole slew of things which will stop them dead, including bye-laws, inadequate signage, signs that do not comply with the Traffic Signs and General Directions and can not be reasonably read at 30mph ( including font size, number of words etc) lack of planning permission for the signs, lack of advertising consent for the signs, breach of crown copyright - if any of the signs use the same logos/fonts as UK road signs etc.
Do not ignore, youv'e got a big stick you can beat them with and cause a few issues for the airport as wellFrom the Plain Language Commission:
