bank that doesn't charge when receiving international transfers

You haven't answered why you were so sure that there was no any intermediary bank.
E.g. in 2009 intermediary banks were involved in some transfers from EU to Lloyds and HBOS and charged £12:
If there is an intermediary, then it means that Llyoid took no charge at all? If they did charge their fee, wouldn't they add a voice on the bank statement?0 -
Well, according to your earlier post Lloyds must not charge for receiving £ transfers from EU.
Re intermediary banks, it's a minefield: Help preventing Bank Rip-off When Sending money Overseas ?
However, it's probably simpler now in well regulated EU / SEPA area.
Ask Lloyds and complain if they don't give you a reasonable explanation.0 -
If you tell us who the sending bank is we (by which I mean other people as I no longer have access to this sort of information) may be able to tell you in an intermediary bank is involved. Unless you are an expert of SWIFT and SEPA payment processing I'm not sure you should be so categorical that there is no intermediary.0

I'm inclined to suspect that Lloyds have paid you the amount that they actually received, minus the £2 or £7 fee.
If so, the deficit will be due to an intermediary bank charge or a variation in the GBP amount sent, perhaps after conversion by the sending bank.
If not, Lloyds need to explain it, as said.
Was a conversion made at some point, and what was the method of transfer, SEPA etc?Evolution, not revolution0 -

I suppose you could always ask Lloyds what the £25 was for....0
