Bank account with VISA but no credit report?

Hi all,
Is there a bank account that functions like a current account, with a VISA debit card, but that has no credit facility and does not appear on a credit report?
Doesn't need to have direct debit facility. But would need to manage online, and have ability to make payments out and to recieve money in.
Thanks
Dan

You mean like basically every basic bank account there is?
Co-op Cashminder, Halifax Easycash, etc etc etc.
Not sure why you don't want it to appear on a credit report though. That could only ever be a positive for you.urs sinserly,

And these definitely don't show on credit reports? At all?JuicyJesus wrote: »

Because I don't want a mortgage lender to see it. Is that viable? Do they have another way of finding out if I had one of these accounts?0 -

Nothing bad in some extra account in your credit files.
If it's transactions that you want to hide, then a lender can't see them unless you show your statements. And normally lenders are happy to see statements of the 'main' account only.0 -

Its matched betting transactions I want to keep private. I could run them all through another current account, but there would always be the risk they ask to see those statements. Hence, risk free option is to run it from an account they cannot see.0 -

Good point. According to another thread even basic bank accounts can get reported to the CRAs. Hopefully some of the accounts mentioned above don't get reported.
I'm not sure if the CRAs have an account indicator showing whether a current account is active or not (knowing them, they probably do), but if they don't you could maybe tell the lender the betting account is not active - fi they ask.0 -

Yep exactly - hence I need certainty on an account that will be invisible to lenders unless I declared it. With a Visa card.0 -
I know a lot about MB, and I don't recall anybody ever reporting such a problem - unless the lender is the same bank. Also, Skrill/Neteller/PP are good ways of removing 'gambling' transactions from a current account, although, I know, some bookies discriminate against e-wallets for bonuses.danlightbulb wrote: »Its matched betting transactions I want to keep private. And, regardless, it's normally just the last 3-months' statements that lenders want to see. A mortgage application is usually not something unexpected.0 -

Thanks grumbler. I appreciate that it has not been reported before but it could happen. I'd rather just keep it off the grid but I don't really want to use e-wallets either as it's inconvenient and I think there may be fees involved. I don't want to stop for 3 months either really, why should I if it's making money with no risk.
At some point prior to the mortgage I would need to transfer the money I have made back in to my main accounts. To what extent will they question where my deposit has come from?0 -

Yeah. I've also never heard of any issues with additional bank accounts on credit reports scuppering mortgages. Having more than one current account is downright normal these days.urs sinserly,
