Plusnet service

Two weeks ago I contacted Plusnet by chat about when I would receive my £50 for taking another 12 months contract, in the end the guy in Plusnet said he would check and get back to me.
Last Monday after not hearing I tried again on chat, this guy apologised for the delay and said he would give me a case number and would need to contact marketing to answer my question.
Just checked the web site as it's a week since the last chat and my case is still showing as waiting for marketing, as Plusnet prides itself on customer service I think this is not good service, marketing were happy to chase me to renew by offering the £50 so it must be in their records.

Update, just checked plusnet and my question has disappeared and not showing in questions answered in the past 7 days.
Did another chat and he is going to e mail the guy in my original chat and say's he will keep me updated.
Monday would have been 2 weeks since my first chat and my question had been showing as 'waiting for marketing' and now disappeared.

Raise a complaint. I find things start to happen when you follow that channel.0

I have been with them for 2 years and as of late their CS has become shocking, maybe ring up and going via termenation route and get retentions and state you want out of this new contract as they have not kept their end of the deal, it should work

Good luck with trying to get a decent 'Retentions' offer from PlusNet, all they offered me in January was same deal I had previously with them, minus no cutback incentive, which they paid last year but did not offer this year, so switched to Sky £154 offer found on MSE, presently paying £20 per month for anytime calls and broadband - Sky just notified me that my cost will go up by about 20 quid per annum, so will be looking to find a sweet deal in next 4 weeks to change too, or Sky give credit to cancel out the increase - 20 quid being sweet spot for 17Mb BB, Line Rental and Anytime calls.0

We'll be going(probably back to Sky) as soon as we can. The ADSL was awful for over 6 weeks, then settled ,but now we have at least one drop out per day; only for a few seconds, sometimes, but annoying if you are interrupted while doing something or are bumped out of a survey, which you can't return to.
I find PlusNet's online chat hopeless, as they pass you to another department, which puts you in another queue, then just happens to time out and cut you off.0
