    Thanks for all your replies. the saint - we've worked out that she isn't yet on the electoral role where she is yet. Her bill gets paid by the company she works for so she didn't have any need yet to inform them as such.

    I've made her phone up the council and tell them that she's living there. She's ending up topping up her pay as you go phone again now so she'll reapply for the sim only contract from o2 again after another month.

    Thanks for all your help, you've been stars x

    I am not sure what you mean by "Her bill" but, she should've informed the local authority that she is living their, it's the law. :)

    As a side note, when you believe people have helped you, press the 'Thanks' button at the bottom of their reply, it's nice to be nice.;)

    Underground what your saying is totally stupid to be honest ...

    No matter how hard the guy at p4u tries all he can say is that u have lived at ur adress for longer, that ur working and for wat time of period and also you have been with your bank for long and thats about it....This sometimes can boost your credit history but by how much? It doesnt do much and also if your credit an these details do not match it will refer and then they will realise the truth after doing some checks .....and then it will be declined or they will ask for more proofs....such as a proof of adress and identity to be faxed over.....

    The credit check is a risk essesment method, its used by the companys to see if your good for them or not. At the end of the day even thought the networks give the decisions if anything goes wrong the retailer has to pay a fee. Im not sure if thats how it works with p4u but with many small companys if the customer does not pay for 6 months of there contract, they will loose the money they made off the contract and then they will be paying for the phone out of there own pocket.

    katangel26, mate get your mums credit history checked and find out what the problem is, if you find no problem try contacting the o2 referals team and have a word with them which i doubt is possible but just try to go to the right department because usually decline's tend to be computer errors or detail entering errors, or maybe she applied for o2 before but never took it maybe at a o2 shop.

    If that doesnt work out go to cpw there o2 credit check is a total joke, you can go in and walk out with a n95 in 10 mins, thats why they are doing high risk checks on luna's now. O2 CPW does there own billing so thats why they can pass anyone. vbmenu_register("postmenu_6363863", true);

    Calling the son of God a fool is not something I think is tolerated on MSE. :)
