Choosing the right heating for a bungalow

Hi. Im looking to install new central heating in my bungalow, ideally heating and instant hot water in one system, no water tanks.
I know there are lots of threads about this, I have read some of them. Unfortunately with so much information and different opinions I'm confused. So I'm asking those who actually know something about this from own experience. Here is my situation:

I live in a bungalow, 3 beds, overall around 670 sq ft. No gas. Only electricity, 2 night storage heaters.
Small garden, no room for 1000L oil or gas tank. No room to store wood either.
Most people in my area have 4 gas bottles outside their houses, but i don't know how often they replace them or how much it costs.

Can anyone please suggest some options, something cheap to run and not too expensive to install. Thank you!

I think you've ruled out most things that are cheap to run!

Bottled gas cylinders aren't cheap. This site http://www.nottenergy.com/energy_cost_comparison/ suggests that bottled propane isn't ridiculously expensive, but is isn't cheap either - see the "pence per kWh" column.

The best I can think of is Economy 7 storage heaters and small under-the-counter water heaters. But that's not a lot of use if you ever want a bath.

If you insist on instant hot water, with electricity you will get nothing better than a 10kW electric shower.

Either accept a stored hot water cylinder, or get a gas combi.

Probably upgrading/adding to your storage heaters and stored hot water cylinder will be the best compromise in initial and running costs.
