    Hi Guys,

    I hope you're all well. I've fallen off the debt repayment bandwagon :'( and I've had to spend hours this morning trying to figure everything out and make a spreadsheet action plan so that I can get rid of this debt once and for all!

    This thread has been so helpful to me in the past, so I'm hoping I can reignite the momentum with all of the cost of living crises financial demands, but repay everything in a way that enables me to be kind to myself.

    No payment to add for today, but just tackling the actual debt with a plan instead of burying my head in the sand, has made me feel so much better, so counting that as a win  ;).

    @Keedie

    Welcome back, you will get all the support you need.  You dont have to post lots of PAD payments.  In view of Cost of Living increases I have slowed down my payments and only make PAD's to debt when I can clear survey cashout or save the change from my bank.

    Thank you so much Shell. It is really overwhelming at the moment isn't it? I just had a serious reality check, as I worked out that if I had even half of my debts that I have now, the crisis wouldn't be so scary. But I can't undo it all, so I just have to muddle through and then eventually start to build savings.

    I've built my PAD/additional payments into my direct debits and repayment plan, so that I can see what I have to pay each month and where I have spare change I'll put that aside in case I need it, but then at the end of each month I'll use it as a PAD towards extra payments. Hopefully the method works  :). x

    Afternoon all,

    Sorry not been doing the payment a day thing recently, I either forget or just don't come on the forum :lol: but I do have some good news!

    I offered Likely Loans a cheeky offer a while back of £200 instead of the £800 I owe. They came back to me yesterday accepting the £200 offer! So this will be paid at the end of the month!

    But I'm updating my signature now, so I'm classing it as a payment today.

    So a nice £200 from me please!

  • Well done @BlueJ94 and welcome back @Keedie! A name I remember from back in the days of the old forum if I'm not mistaken?
