    Hi
    £11.50 to online savings
Happy Snapper - I make mortgage overpayments as PADS. I set mine up as a payee through internet banking. Check with your mortgage if they need a specific reference for additional payments and that there!!!8217;s no penalty.
    Thanks
    On a mission!

Hi everyone - thanks for the welcome! I actually need to phone and change my bank account with my mortgage company anyway, so will check there's no penalty for payments. I have them set up, but have never made daily payments, only the odd extra if I got a bonus while I was working.

Would be great if they'd be happy to accept daily overpayments! I guess if I did that it would reduce interest quicker than trying to save up big chunks to pay off - and there's not the temptation to dip into the "savings".

    Definitely food for thought!
