Payment A Day Chapter 18

£10.27 mortgage overpayment for me today. January has felt like the longest month ever. I usually get paid on the 28th of every month, or just before if the 28th happens to fall on a weekend.
Because of office closures over Christmas though, I got paid on 21st December, so it'll have been over 5 weeks by the time I get paid next week. What a struggle!0 -

I used to really struggle with this too, but for the last few years when I’ve been paid early in December I’ve transferred all my wage out to a savings account. Then once my true pay day arrives I transfer it back.
January sales still impact what I have left in January but at least it’s not an extended period to wait for payday.
