Thought about getting a cheap Linux (pre installed or even cheaper you can get a DVD and install it self) laptop?
When I killed a keyboard on chromebook I got a cheap linux laptop (ubuntu) and it's great - keyboard, printer, office, music, podcasts :T) - would have to check and pm whom I got mine off ebay (mid price) but they were good and had good couriers
