    August is a bit of a tricky month for me because the kids are off school and its always a bit more expensive, so although I want to make a big payment to my loan I am holding back to see what the month brings, and will pay what is left at the end of the month. 

    £16.97 paid to my big loan today.

    That sounds like a really sensible decision @Doily94 as the summer holidays can be so expensive and there's no sense in leaving yourself to unnecessarily struggle.
