Thanks for the update.... in effect you've probably found yourself in similar situation to me... regarding the report and actually similar points and bettered award than DLA. Would love to have the duration of your award though lol... *rips your arm off*. I did pursue in reconsideration because I was so angry at inaccurate stuff including descriptors selected... I wasted a lot of time and effort doing so and essentially had to put marriage ahead of appeal possibility to some frustration. You may well have more quickly reached a place I ended up in... and perhaps you should have a nice strong cup of tea... and consider each sip as taking you further away from the horrors of claiming and towards a place of greater calm and clarity. Given your own 'internal' assessment with family is 'meaningfully accurate to their decision' I can only conclude you're making the right decision technically and on a human level.
