I believe that companies prioritise women on their own. If you had one available to make the phone call..........0

I remember when Green Flag started up, they said within 20 minutes. RAC and AA tried to match that at the time. But over the years money had to come over service and callout times were extended.
Location, demand and the elements play a big part in it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Why would you waste their time with flat tyres?, why not just change them yourself?.0 -
I used to work for a breakdown company.....not AA/RAC
There was no prioritization based on fault.
Time to attend was solely down to distance from the breakdown company we called or where the nearset "van" was at the time.
Most companies would commit to attending probably quicker than reality as they we're paid for each job, so invariably the just round the corner excuse was used when they we're late.
Breaking down in the daytime almost always guaranteed faster times as simply more people manned the vans !
But in most cases its just pot luck and most of the time < 1 hour was normal, i dont think changing companies would effect that.0 -

Because he's paid a hefty premium to cover such things ?
Not suitably dressed ?
In a dangerous location ?
Some gorilla has tight tightened the wheel nuts to 1000lbs ?
Its raining ?
Or simply doesn't know how ?0 -

A lot of cars no longer have a spare tyre just a puncture repair kit.
So why are they in the car then? Why not simply rely on the breakdown service to have these kits?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

From that list the only the only reason that would be acceptable to me is if your in a dangerous location.
Plus when you say tightened to "1000lbs" I assume you mean 1000 lb.ft which would mean that an average person would have to stand on a 7 foot long bar so a bit of an exaggeration I think!.
The problem I have is that because most people don't maintain their cars then the majority of breakdowns can be fixed on the roadside. So the last time my car broke down I told them that it could not be fixed at the roadside under any circumstances but they still insisted they had to send out someone to try before they would recover the car!. So I had to sit around for an hour wasting my time!.0
