Might be a scam seller?

We are looking at a motorhome on Ebay, item 162364437700
Seller gave a funny email .....@bpnet.com plus I do not seem able to send a message on the mobile they used!
Just tried to check MOT history and it comes up vehicle not found when I use the registration in the photos.
Help needed, Obviously I will not part with any money till I have seen, driven and checked the VIN number.
If it is a scam what should I do, Ebay don't seem interested on a previous occasion.

register and do a basic check and it will show previous mots etc

Passed mot 7/9/2016 31.718 miles at time of mot.
Used the free Android App Vechile smart the first bit of number plate is a 0 number not a o as in alphabet

I just found it, the vehicle make is peugeot as it's a peugeot boxer van according to VOSA. I think you have to tell DVLA is you convert but I'm not sure if it would appear on the MOT page. The logbook would have the new details on it

Gosh, what a poor advert.

MOT expires: 09 September 2017, apparently.

• Test date 7 September 2016
• Expiry date 9 September 2017
• Test Result Pass
• Odometer reading 31,718 miles
• MOT test number 5323 7932 5320

Previous MOTs are all passes, with an advisory of the rear brakes binding 3 years ago.


If you're buying it, make sure you do a damp check - that's what knackers most caravans and motorhomes.

Low feedback seller - 14, all as a buyer, all over a year ago.

Looks far too cheap to me. That, alone, should set the alarm bells ringing en masse. Quick google suggests £20k-ish would be more appropriate, which certainly feels more like. Five grand does not get you much of a motorhome.
