As you will see on this site 100's of times, the International Parking Community is a sham, a kangaroo court, set up by Gladstones Solicitors and should be stripped of their ATA status

This is an industry run by scammers, they put anything down, these down and outs would see their own mother in court if it earned them a buck.

Their website has a logo and name of Independent Parking Committee and says

If a motorist disputes any PCN then they have recourse to a full appeals procedure, as outlined by our governing body the Independent Parking Committee (IPC).

As a member of the Independent Parking Committee Accredited Operator Scheme (IPC AOS) we are able to request vehicle keeper details from the DVLA. This means that where we receive no contact following a PCN being issued we have the facility to pursue vehicle keepers for payment, ensuring that parking regulations remain respected and effective.

We have a PPC misbehaving at our Residential Car Park *currently* ... they gave a Resident, in his own allocated bay, a PCN. He wrote to them and explained he was a resident in his own allocated bay but this fact was irrelevant to them, they said the PCN still stood and wouldn't cancel it. The Management Agent who contracted them said it wasn't any of their Business.
Clearly the PPC is operating at the site for all the right reasons and intentions and for the good and benefit of the residents ...

Strip away the glossy websites and brochures and then you see how they really behave when you get a PCN.

The Management Agent who contracted them is pretty thick as they are responsible for their agents.

You need to check your lease as to car parking arrangements.

Right now, courts are dismissing claims in residential areas as you have a right to a peaceful existence

The management company can cancel but maybe they are on a commission ????

Ask to see a copy of this contract, if they will not provide, if it goes to court, you will include them in any claim made to provide evidence together with a copy of the agreement.

It's amazing that at this point, the ticket is cancelled.

    Who is the PPC

Please please please start this in a new thread, the management agent lied the management agent is jointly and severally liable for the actions of its agent, in this case the parking company and as such the management agent needs to know that:
they are responsible for the actions of their agents
they must stop issuing tickets on the land with immediate effect
    this could be tortuous interference
and the management agent could also, as a result of the actions of their agents be in breach of the data protection act, which could result in them being charged £250-£750
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Don't worry, I had my own thread on this a while back, its dormant at the moment but I will update it when there is tangible news and/or I am ready to escalate again if necessary. I have a copy of the arrangement between the PPC and the MA, have checked my lease etc. Currently the situation is being dealt with via the Freeholder who I escalated to (which appears to be progressing quite well despite the attitude of the MA - made worse by the fact they are now being told to do things). Personally I never got a ticket but I am aware of people who did and have offered to help them if they require help.

On the legal side of things I am looking into this in parallel and taking some advice in case we need to go down that avenue. Ideally legal action and the £'s costs can be avoided, but alas if not I guess it will need to be spent and done. Feel free to PM me with any info or experience you have with this.

The trouble with these kinds of companies is they are quite belligerent and don't think individuals can win, however that is not always the case if you are both patient and persistent as they are finding out in the early rounds of this fight.
