Carphone Warehouse PAYG
Is it possible to have Carphone Warehouse waive the compulsary £10 top up when purchasing a PAYG phone?
Looking to change my handset but I'm already on o2 PAYG (the handset I'm after is cheapest if I buy it on o2) and the last thing I need is a second SIM with £10 on it...

see if they will do a paug upgrade, so have the old number transfered to the new sim
its possible on orange, dont know about o2
or speak to o2 and ask if when you get the new phone they will let you transfer the credit to your numberYes Your Dukeiness0 -
Yes they will do an O2 PAYG Upgrade, without the £10 top up. Basically you keep your same SIM they just record the Number. When I did mine I got 10% back of all my top ups for the last 2 years.Cheers

Yay
Any idea if they'll match a deal that o2 are running? (free memory card when you buy a SE K800i @ £99.99 - CPW price is £99.95 without a memory card)
Reason I want to purchase from CPW is that they supply all of their PAYG phones from SIM free stock....0 -
o2's stock is unlocked anyway! ive never come across one that has been locked
it might have their software (non generic sony ericsson) but still likely to be unlockedYes Your Dukeiness0 -
I thought all o2 PAYG phones were locked
I know that most contract ones aren't, but I thought they locked their PAYG stock.0 -
double check with an o2 store before you buyYes Your Dukeiness0
