Do you consider credit card design when applying?

I appreciate good design, but that wouldn't influence choosing a card based on features.
However, good design can be helpful. Nationwide cards have a red edge which differentiates from all my other cards in my wallet, which universally have white edges. I believe the M&S cards may have green edges but I've never had one so couldn't confirm.
So in answer to the OP, the design and colour is of interest to me, but for usability reasons over aesthetics.0
