Parking Fine from P4 Parking - appeal rejected

I rent a car parking space in a secure private car park, I have an allocated bay and permit.
i received a fine from P4 Parking as my permit badge was not displayed in my car on the day. This was because I had been using a courtesy car and left the permit in there when my car got returned, so for the one day I parked in the car park they fined me. Long story short, my appeal got rejected and they're asking my to pay up!
What do i do??! help please!!

It is not a fine.
What does the rental contract for the parking space say about permits.
Did you appeal as keeper (hope so) or driver (hope not.)
Did you get a PoPLA code with your rejection? If so, you make a PoPLA appeal.
Was this a windscreen ticket or a notice to keeper through the post?
What happened when you complained to the landowner or company from which you rent the space?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

If so then you are in the debt collector stage - ignore all debt collector letters. Come back if they move from debt collector stage to court action (which you don't ignore)
Keep on at the landowner to get the ticket cancelled
(If this was your first appeal to the ppc, then the newbies thread near the top of the forum has advice on preparing a POPLA appeal)0 -
I am the keeper of the vehicle, I do not own the parking space but I rent it through an official parking let website. I did recieve a POPLA code, shall I go through them to get this sorted? Is my claim valid?
this is the response from the parking company:
Further to and in response to your appeal, P4Parking has been contracted by the landowners or agents thereof to ensure that vehicles are only allowed to be parked on the land with authority.
This authority is dependent upon the rules as laid down by the landowners or bodies acting on behalf of such estate, land or development. P4Parking has the authority to charge any vehicle that is parked contrary to these regulations. It is the responsibility of the person parking to demonstrate the correct display of the relevant permit
and or adherence to the rules governing the parking of the vehicle(s) within the grounds. If in doubt,
P4Parking operates 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 9:00am till 5:00pm a manned control-room
whose staffs are willing and able to advice on the validity of your parking prior to any charge being
issued. This contact number is available on any P4Parking warning notice and is placed throughout the private grounds as well as being on all permit documents issued by and on behalf of P4Parking.
The area where your vehicle was charged has a policy to which all attending vehicles must park within the pre-informed parking criteria. The contravention you have been breached with specifically is for:
No Parking Permit On Visible Display
Although I sympathies with your concerns, at the time of your vehicle contravention and subsequent
issuance with a Parking Charge Notice the vehicle was in breach of the above and therefore, correctly charged under the power given to us by the landowner. When parking on private land, a motorist freely enters into an agreement to abide by the conditions of parking in return for permission to park. It is the motorist’s responsibility to ensure that he or she abides by any clearly displayed conditions of parking. With regards to your appeal of the parking charge issued and having inspected all data available, which includes your letter and contents of appeal, photographs taken at the time of the charge issued by the warden and all additional 3rd party information available to us, I must make the following points very clearly.
It is the duty of the driver to read the signage placed on the development. The signs on the development clearly state "All vehicles parked within these private grounds and not
displaying an authorised parking permit or parked outside of this development’s parking regulations will be charged via the issuance of a parking charge notice. Enforcement may take place at any time”
Having read your statement, it is the motorist responsibility to read the warning notices on the
development and abide to the parking regulations and adhere to the rules governing the parking of the vehicle(s) within the grounds. In your statement you said that whilst your own vehicle was in for repair you had a courtesy vehicle, which is where you left your permit in over the Christmas period as the repair office was closed. However you would be aware of the parking regulations and that it is a
patrolled area, where only vehicles displaying the appropriate authority to park, in this case a parking
permit, are allowed to do so. You should have requested a temporary parking permit from the 24 hour Concierge office on this development until your own permit could be retrieved. After examination of the pictorial evidence taken by the operative at the time this parking charge notice was issued, there is no parking permit on visible display in this vehicle, this parking charge notice was issued correctly. The patrol officer has carried out his duties correctly as instructed by the landowner. Motorists parking on private land must comply with the advertised terms and conditions, therefore the patrol officer had reasonable cause to issue a parking charge notice on your vehicle.
Therefore the parking charge notice was issued correctly according to the instructions set out by the
landowners, please see attached pictorial evidence below.
After careful consideration I must advise you that your appeal for this PCN has been DENIED0 -

Need more information really such as what is the purpose of the car park, is it residential (e.g. a space where you live) or in a car park by a station or your work place.
Either way you have an agreement to park there that you signed, so check that agreement and see if it mentions that you have to show a "bit of paper in your windscreen" or not.
Then contact the company you have the agreement with and ask them if they have engaged P4 Parking and if so ask him to get P4 Parking to get it cancelled. The purpose of the scheme is clearly not to ticket people who have a right to park there ...0 -
The car park is a residential car park, but i work near by so I have rented the space through a park let website. When I met the owner to collect the permit for the car he did not notify me that I could get a temporary permit if i lost the permit hence why I thought one day of parking the car park without my permit would be fine. The signs are clear when i enter the car park , but i have receipts for the bay that i have been allocated and a permit which clearly states the bay i am allowed to park in. Yes I parked in the bay for one day without a permit but i appealed and explained my situation however still received a rejection letter. is it worth appealing through POPLA?0

just to add, the owner of the car park hasn't made a loss from me parking in my allocated bay as i pay for the space.0

Again, what does your written rental agreement say about parking?
Again, did you appeal as keeper or driver. In other words, did you reveal the driver's details when you appealed (did you say "I parked ... " or similar giveaway words?)
Again, was this a windscreen ticket or a notice to keeper through the post.
Again, if you got a PoPLA code, appeal to PoPLA.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0
