Premier Parking Logistics - Tied wrong reg to my wifes name/address

Options
My wife got a "Notice to Keeper" PCN in the post saying we have a PCN for £100 in a city over 2 hours away. The car only goes to our local town and back so we know its incorrect. Its all addressed correctly but the reg is wrong.

Say for example my reg is
AB55 ABC
the PCN reg is
AB55 ABV
both cars come back to the same make, model and colour.
I believe they have mistyped the details to the DVLA (as C is next to V). She rang Premier Parking Logistics and got them to check the reg on the pictures and they have the right reg for the pics but have incorrectly tied it to my wifes name.

She was in tears thinking what had she done wrong for the £100 since the details only give a common street name and no city. I'm pretty annoyed that the DVLA have disclosed private details as well.

They are are going back to the DVLA to say the details are incorrect. Anyone else had anything similar?

yes premier have incorrectly obtained your details in breach of their trade assoc and DVLA rules

as a new member of the IPC , he should have had all his cases checked by the IPC before being given data

Mr watkins has run wild over the last few years by being both a clamper then a PPC without being in a trade ATA

a claim should be made to all athorities , and a request to pay you £250 for breach of the DPA , or you will bring charges agaist him

    Report them to the ICO.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Quickie pappa, since when did the IPC give a monkeys toss what their members do ?

As far as the OP is concerned, it begs the question as to the security of the DVLA. The OP should request how they accept reg details
IE ... how many times do they have to enter the reg number for confirmation

It should also be pointed out to the DVLA that such action to a frail person could induce a heart attack.

Plus, by Premier Parking Logistics contacting your wife without due care and attention, they are in breach of the data protection act

The best person to contact in the DVLA IS David Dunford
    david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

Although in my view Dunford is pretty useless as you will see this old watchdog video which features one his pals David Evans

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlPjpW_6pGc

You need to take the DVLA to task and there is no harm in invoicing Premier Parking Logistics for £250 as full and final payment to you for breach of the data protection act.

Failure to pay will mean you reporting them to the ICO to which if found guilty could face a high fine.

Go for it, these parking cowboys like Premier Parking Logistics, ex clampers and pond low life need a warning shot

    NO

do that now , a letter telling them they have broken the DPA , and have 14 days to pay you or you WILL start court action , and after 14 days you return here for assistance with court wording

and you write to the DVLA and IPC (laugh) and the ICO stating your displeasure

he has been a member of the ICO since last july , https://ico.org.uk/ESDWebPages/Entry/ZA195771 they are not going to be best happy with him
