On the appeals page, it states:
"Please provide the reference number, the drivers name & address, and any information that may assist us with our investigation. Correspondence submitted without all the requested information will not be addressed."
So if we don't give the PPC the driver's name and address, are they within their rights to ignore the appeal?0 -
You should NOT give them the driver's details!
They make their own rules up on whether or not they ignore correspondence!0 -
No, they are not. And it is wrong that the appeal 'requires' that detail. It is enough to appeal as keeper, giving your name and address. So if we don't give the PPC the driver's name and address, are they within their rights to ignore the appeal?PRIVATE 'PCN'? "the ticket was issued during the 10 minutes it took them to pop inside, buy a round and get some change"
That's quick service and even more impressively quick drinking ... hope the driver had a soft drink

Many apologies for the lack of an update.
My friend failed to give me any more updates on this case, and I forgot to follow it up.
I've just spoken to him, though, and it appears that the brewery that owns the pub has cancelled the invoice - and that seems to be the case, as the parking firm did not reply to any further correspondence and seems to have gone quiet.
Thank you to everyone who helped with advice on this case.0 -
