Can I join the 'Dishrag' brigade please. I too had yet another terrible nights sleep and am feeling exhausted.

I'm just home from paid stuff and sat here with a cup of coffee and some scrambled eggs...a very very late brunch!

I did all my cleaning yesterday so I'm just going to enjoy some rest.
Dinner is leftovers from sunday night that just needs re-heating. I have hung out a load of washing so no more chores on the cards.

I wish I had the energy and incentive to go to the gym, but I'm all out of both so will sit and peruse the OS boards.

    Evening folks.

Done my duty with the local hospital visit - had to strip off at the hospital as I had my merino thermals on which proved far too warm there. A quick visit to the loos was in order!

Came home, lit the woodburner and now just being cosy in front of it so nothing much to report. Just wittering on really.

Got home at 8.15 last night, throat still very sore and hard to swallow anything but mush. Procedure went OK, they took four biopsies and I have to wait for 2 weeks for results not too worried though he didn't spot anything obvious, he was more concerned that the hiatus hernia has grown and my sugars are too high. Feel a bit more relaxed. Just pottered about today, nothing too strenuous got all the washing done cleaned out stove hoovered and dusted. DH was miffed, but no one else will do it, I need a house elf!
LW I would have just refused to go. I am riddled with arthritis and my gp has never called me in for a review, there is no cure. It angers me when gp's moan that their workload is too high and they call people in for check ups for this, that or whatever they get extra funding for!
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

  • I think the NHS must be having a shake up as He Who Knows and I both had a NHS NO REPLY text from the surgery this morning asking us to notify them if we had ever been in the armed forces, out of the blue, no explanation s to why they needed to know either, most peculiar!
