We have a steel trim on our new bathrooms and quarter pipe plastic on the kitchen windowsills and both look good. The bathrooms are modern and have other shiny metal bits such as handles, towel rail and so it looks good there. The kitchen has more matt white touches, light grey tiles white bulkhead and duck egg feature walls and the quarter pipe white plastic trim around the windowsill and top of tiles looks great.
